The earliest reference to Bretforton Grange dates back all the way to King Offa, who gifted the land to Evesham Abbey for use as a monastic farm.

In Offa’s field, you can see the living imprint of our history in the ridge and furrow, reminding us of our medieval origins and the rhythms of old.

Today, we use the field to encourage biodiversity, make hay, and give next door’s horses a home-away-from-home but it’s also available to book for any outdoor or under-cover activity you can think of.

Our fields, meadows, woodlands, carpark and walled garden are all available for you to hire either on their own or as part of something you are hosting within the main buildings.
