Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket purchases, venue hire, workshops/courses, and use of our website and services at Bretforton Grange & Theatrebarn (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing a ticket, booking a workshop, hiring a space, or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice;
1. Tickets, Exchanges & Refunds
1.1. Refunds for unused tickets will only be made where an event is cancelled. If your event is cancelled and you do not want a refund, you can exchange your ticket for another event, subject to availability.
1.2. If an event is rescheduled before its start time, your ticket will automatically transfer to the new date/time. If you are unable to attend, subject to availability you may receive a refund or credit.
1.3. Tickets are non-transferable (i.e. you may not give or sell your ticket to someone else for profit or as part of a promotion), unless we expressly permit it in writing.
1.4. We reserve the right to refuse admission or void a ticket if we believe it has been re-sold in breach of these Terms.
1.5. Outdoor events may go ahead unless deemed unsafe (e.g. due to weather); in that case, the refund/credit policies above will apply.
1.6. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets. We may decline to reissue them.
1.7. Where we accept re-sale of tickets (e.g. a secure resale scheme), we may retain any booking fee.
1.8. Credits or vouchers we issue will have a defined validity period (e.g. 24 months), after which they expire. They are non-refundable and any unused balance beyond expiry will be considered a donation to us.
1.9 Bretforton Grange & Theatrebarn is a listed heritage building and some areas have limited step-free access. If you have any access requirements or are unsure whether the venue meets your needs, please contact us before booking so we can advise on suitability and available adjustments: hello@bretfortongrange.org
1.91 Anyone under the age of 18 must have a responsible adult with them at all times whilst on the premises.
2. Pricing, Concessions & Fees
2.1. You must hold a valid ticket for each attendee.
2.2. Prices may vary over time; we reserve the right to change prices at any time without offering refunds for price differences.
2.3. A non-refundable booking or administration fee may be added to the face value of the ticket.

2.4. Concessions (e.g. for children, students, seniors) must be requested at time of booking; we cannot apply discounts retrospectively. If a concession ticket is purchased, we may ask for proof of eligibility for this concession.
2.5. Some events may carry age restrictions; we reserve the right to ask for proof of age on entry and if this is not forthcoming, refuse entry.
2.6. We are not liable for any tickets lost, stolen, or destroyed.
2.7. Altering or tampering with a ticket may render it void.
3. Customer Conduct, Comfort & Safety
3.1. Latecomers: if you arrive after the event has started for whatever reason, you may not be admitted until an appropriate break or interval, and no refund will be offered.
3.2. We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove a person whose behaviour is, in our absolute opinion, unreasonable, abusive, disruptive, or in breach of our Code of Conduct, with no entitlement to a refund. If the person is under the age of 18, then their responsible adult will need to leave with them along with any other persons under the age of 18 that they are responsible for.
3.3. We may change seating allocations if layout changes or other operational needs arise.
3.4. Prohibited items (included but not limited to: glass, weapons, recording equipment, sharp or large items) may not be brought into the venue; we may refuse admission to those carrying such items. Phones may be brought in the venue but we ask that recording capabilities are turned off and that all electronic devices are silenced.
3.5. We reserve the right to make reasonable alterations to the advertised programme, cast, or timings. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund (unless we cancel the event).
3.6. We reserve the right to cancel or abandon an event at our discretion. In that case, our only liability is a refund of the ticket price (excluding booking fees).
3.7. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought to the venue.
3.8. Disruptions external to us (e.g. traffic, weather, public transport issues) are not our responsibility, but we will endeavour to notify attendees where possible.
4. Data, Privacy & Recording
4.1. All ticketing and bookings are subject to data protection laws (e.g. UK GDPR).
4.2. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4.3. By attending an event you consent to be filmed, recorded, and photographed (by us or our agents) for security, promotional, archival or broadcast purposes — unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing in advance.
4.4. For our full data/privacy policies, see our Privacy & Cookies Policy page.
5. Workshops, Courses & Classes
Where applicable the terms above will also apply, as well as…

5.1. A deposit (or full payment) is required to reserve a place in any course or workshop.
5.2. Outstanding balances must be paid by a specified deadline (e.g. several weeks before start).
5.3. If we cancel a class before it begins, you may transfer to another offering or receive a full refund (or credit).
5.4. If a class session is cancelled mid-term, we will endeavour to provide a replacement session; if this is not possible we will issue a pro rata credit for missed sessions.
5.5. Minor changes to content or instructor do not constitute grounds for refund.
5.6. No refunds or make-up sessions are provided for non-attendance due to illness or personal reasons.
5.7. Transfer between courses may be possible (subject to availability) if requested within a specified timeframe (e.g. 48 hours), but not guaranteed. Any difference in fees must be paid, or credit refunded.
5.8. Participants must conduct themselves respectfully; failure to do so may lead to removal from class without refund.
5.9. Children under 18 must have completed parental consent / enrolment forms; we reserve the right to refuse entry if forms are incomplete. We must be alerted to any participant under the age of 18 at the time of booking and safeguarding conditions may apply.
5.10. Where access needs exist, carers may accompany participants, but unless participating themselves, they are expected to assist rather than take part. We must be alerted to any access needs at the time of booking, and access and safeguarding conditions may apply.

7.4. We reserve the right to cancel your membership (with or without refund) if you breach our Code of Conduct or policies.
