ENTREPRENEUR & FOUNDER OF MIO BAMBINO
Guy Schanschieff OBE DL
When my wife & I decided to start a business selling reusable nappies from the front room of our home in Northampton in the mid 1990’s, most people thought we were mad.
Over the 20 years, the company grew far beyond what we could have hoped for. When we sold the company in 2021, we had prevented over 2.5 billion disposable nappies, swim nappies and training pants from ending up in landfill.
We had won over 100 consumer awards, received two Queen's Awards for Enterprise, and were recognised as one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK, as well as being a certified B Corp.
